The lodging for the last two nights of my Miami trip was in the area of Miami known as Little Havana.

“Little Havana is the best known Cuban exile neighborhood in the world. It is characterized by its street life, restaurants, music and other cultural activities, small business enterprises, political passion, and great warmth among its residents.”

Since our lodging was just a couple of blocks away from Little Havana’s SW 8th Street where dining options are plentiful, we were able to take a walk to have a late lunch.

First stop – smashburgers, fries, and canned water. Fabulous! The view just outside was constant color in motion.

Two doors down and it was time for ice cream!

Just across the street and past a few establishments, it was time for coffee!

A lovely return walk after enjoying delicious tastes and glimpses of Little Havana.

Buen provecho!
