worship

On Sunday, my friend and I attended the 10:30am service at St. James Episcopal Church in Taos.

It’s a beautiful church.

Come, all you people, come and praise your Maker
Blessed be the one, holy, and living God
Put your trust in God, for I will yet give thanks to the Holy One
Hear what the Spirit is saying to the Churches
The peace of Christ be with you always
Come to the table of grace

A friend of mine died a few days ago. We’ve been parishioners at St. James (Clayton, GA) for many years. We worshipped together at the 8am service and enjoyed some church shenanigans. I will miss her.

Honor her for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate. Proverbs 31:31

Hope is deeper than despair, Thanks be to you, O God.

Let us go forth into the world, rejoicing in the power of the Spirit.

  1. Ginny, I’m so very sorry to hear of your friend’s passing. My heart goes out to you. May your memories of her and the knowledge that you enriched her life be comforting.

Thank you for this remote church service. I saved it until I had quiet to fully absorb. What a gift this was.

    Safe travels, friend.
