da, da da da, da da

Pomp and Circumstance.
Edward Elgar.

I’m headed this day to Houston, TX for my granddaughter, Valerie’s college graduation.

I’m so proud of her!

I traveled to Houston every Spring and Fall for the four years she was at Rice. It’s been a JOY!

Watching her grow in confidence and knowledge; of presence and passion has been joyous.

She is full of joy.

She is honorable.

Fierce

Funny

Determined

I can’t wait to see what comes next in her life.

Look out world. Here she comes!

  1. Hi Ginny,

As always, I love reading your posts! Each one is so full of wonderful photos, incredible capturing of your adventures, and full of quiet wisdom.

I wanted to respond to this particular post. I am so touched by your connection to your family, especially your grandchildren. They are so lucky to have you as their grandmother—someone who gives them such amazing support and love—and really “sees” them. What a wonderful tribute to Valerie below—you capture her so beautifully. It must make her feel so loved—and seen.

Thank you for being you. A very special woman, you are! Love, Beth

Congratulations, Valerie! Thank you in advance for all the good you will bring into the world (and wow, the things you have already brought forth)

Way to go, GranDma! You put the GRAND in it!

    Celebratory hugs all around,
